Whether you call it motivation, pleasure or satisfaction, or feeling good about yourself, either way it is an important ingredient in your work, both as an employer and an employee. People who enjoy their work are happier, more efficient and more productive.

Workplace and Employment mediation is used when people are embroiled in a workplace dispute. This can include a conflict between colleagues or between an employee and a supervisor or employer. A disturbed employment relationship results in increased absenteeism. This costs time and money and can be a source of frustration and stress.

Reintegration/restoration employment relationship
Workplace and Employment mediation often focuses on the restoration of the employment relationship and/or the reintegration of the (sick) employee in the work process. STA mediators assists you so you can come to constructive agreements yourselves about the collaboration and mutual communication. We take into account the legal and financial aspects, such as the provisions of the Dutch Civil Code, the Eligibility for Permanent Incapacity Benefit (Restrictions) Act (Wet verbetering Poortwachter) and the relationship with your Health & Safety Service (Arbodienst).

Termination employment relationship
In some cases it may be best, for all parties involved, to terminate the employment relationship when the conflict has escalated too much to restore the collaboration. In that case, STA mediators can assist you with the careful termination and settlement of your employment. The conditions that you agree on for the termination of the employment relationship, as well as the legal aspects, both have a role to play. This includes legal stipulations about the termination or dissolution of the employment contract, the transition payment or severance pay, eligibility to unemployment allowance and non-competition or non-solicitation clauses. We ensure that you are well-informed and come to a well-thought-out joint decision.

We also recommend that you request legal advice yourself in the event of termination of the employment relationship. After all, as mediators we are neutral, meaning we cannot personally advise you.
